Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
Nothing. Tribune is 100% free, with no advertising and no limit on players.
Can we play for money?
No. Tribune never collects, holds or pays out any money: the game is about points and a league table. If the members of a league organise a pot between themselves, that happens entirely outside the app.
How many people do we need?
Two is enough, and there is no maximum. It works just as well with five friends as with five hundred colleagues.
Do we need to install an app?
No, everything runs in a browser. On a phone, the page can be added to your home screen and then behaves like an app. A mobile app is in development.
Can we start a league mid-season?
Yes. A league picks its starting point and only counts matches played from then on, so starting in November does not condemn anyone to chasing fifteen matchdays. A player who joins a league already under way scores from their arrival, without catching up on past matches.
Who decides the rules?
Whoever creates the league. They choose the side bets, what they are worth and how many jokers there are; the league rules are shown to every player, and they no longer change once the league has started.
What is the minimum age?
15 and over.
