This is a translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version of these terms prevails.
What Tribune is
Tribune is a football prediction game to play with friends. Everyone predicts the scores of the matches in a competition, scores points according to published rules, and is ranked against the other members of their league. Using the site means accepting these terms.
The service is free. Should paid plans ever appear, they will cover convenience and never the scoring: a league that pays will not score a single point more than a league that does not.
Your account
One account per person, with a valid email address and a display name that does not impersonate anyone else. You are responsible for your password and for whatever happens from your account.
The minimum age is 15. You can delete your account at any time from your profile.
Money: Tribune never touches it
Tribune does not organise, collect, hold or pay out any money whatsoever. The site offers no paid betting, takes no stake and pays no winnings. What is played for here is points and a place in a table.
If the members of a league agree between themselves on a pot, a prize or any other stake, that happens entirely outside Tribune and is a private arrangement between them. The publisher is neither the organiser, nor the holder, nor the guarantor of it, and cannot be held responsible for a dispute, a missed payment or a sum that is never handed over.
Leagues and their organiser
Whoever creates a league is its organiser. They choose the side bets, the points, the number of jokers, they invite people, and they can remove a member. Those choices are theirs: Tribune provides the tool, the organiser decides about their league.
An organiser undertakes not to change the rules to favour anyone. Settings are locked when the league starts, precisely so that nobody has to take anyone's word for it.
What you write
The discussion walls belong to your league. Insults, harassment, hateful speech, unlawful content and advertising have no place there. A reported message may be removed, and an account suspended in the event of a serious or repeated breach.
You remain the owner of what you write, and you allow Tribune to display it to the members of your league, which is rather the point.
What Tribune does not guarantee
Fixtures, scores and statistics come from third-party data providers. An error or a delay on their part can throw off a points calculation; the table is recalculated as soon as the correction lands. The publisher corrects in good faith but does not guarantee that sports data is accurate at every instant.
The service may be interrupted for maintenance or because of a supplier outage. As it is free, the publisher owes no compensation on that account, which does not relieve it of what the law places upon it.
Changes and disputes
These terms may change. Any significant change will be announced in the app before it takes effect. The rules of a competition already under way, on the other hand, never change midway.
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a disagreement, write first to contact@tribune-pronos.com: almost everything gets settled that way. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction.
